Once again Cain has put me in the head of his main character & made me wish to be him. Great narrative , hot story , i just wish that i could visit the center myself! what a great concept! Loved it!
So, I was expecting a descent sci-fi story with key elements of a man and an android in some sort of relationship. Yeah I got a man, and I got an android, but what I also got was nothing but poorly written, hard core porn that felt like it had been hammered out by a 16 year old, typing one handed on a sticky keyboard.
When I got half way through the story and it had already progressed to hard core sex, with no major plot developments, I rapidly lost interest.
There was no plot and no character development what so ever, and it seemed as if this thing was nothing more than a poorly scribed masturbatory fantasy. Admittedly, I wasn't expecting literary gold buying this book, but I sure as heck wasn't expecting it to be this awful.
My advice, if you want a story, move along, there's nothing to see here. If you want masturbation material, do yourself a favor and do not subject yourself to this crime against the mind. This was so badly written I wasn't even remotely aroused.
To sum this up, RUN!, SAVE YOURSELF!!!!!
